Xena had woken in the middle of the night, and was thrashing about in the cage, trying to rid herself of the chains. When the cage was opened, she roared at the girl, and fired at the iron bars. They glowed orange for a moment, and Xena would hit her head against them, but they would make a short bend, and go back to a hard form instead of melted.

Sarah holds up her hands. She walks over to the dragon, after shutting the cage door. Unchains her.

Xena threatened to scorch the girl, but let her be unchained. She stretched her feet as much as she could, and tried to flap her wings.

Sarah watches the dragon wondering what she was thinking and wondered if she knew what Sarah was about trying to do. Stands back. She makes a motion that would say "I mean no harm." After all Sarah was doing what she had to do.......

Xena lowered her head, and to the side. It was her way to say she'd surrendered to the girl, and her ways. She'd given up fighting. The cages were too strong to break, and the second the bit of the bridle went in her mouth, and the saddle on her back, she would be under complete control. Those bits were filled with magic, the saddles too. Instead of metal bits, the bits were made of unicorn horn, the most unbreakeable surface on the earth. The saddles had a spell on them that gave complete control over the dragon to the dragon rider.

Sarah slowly puts on the bit, then moves onto the saddle. She leads the dragon out to the mounting area.

Xena graciously accepted the unicorn horn bit, and allowed the girth to be tigtened around her barrel. She followed after her, recieving many hard stares from the dragons in the dungeons too. They'd seen her come in as a montroseity, and now, she was a pet. Xena followed willingly, ignoring the stares, and stopped at the block. She looked at the girl once, and then turned her scarlet crown away, waiting for her to get on.
